Cosmetics Review: Clinique's True Bronze Pressed Powder in Sunkissed

The ProductClinique's True Bronze Pressed Powder in Sunkissed

The Review: I got this as a sample last year during Clinique's summer gift with purchase, and it's one of the most convenient bronzers I've tried so far. While it's not dark enough for contouring (at least, not for my skin tone), it's a lovely color- not too brassy, not too brown with just enough shimmer to give you that summer glow. I actually managed to get a tan this year, so I've been using it to slightly highlight my cheekbones after applying a little of my normal blush (Clinique Blushing Blush Powder Blush in Berry Delight, which I will review later and make snarky comments on the mind-numbing repetitiveness of the name) or I'll just use it alone when I'm doing the smokey-eye with nude lips
thing. Personally, I don't feel as though there's a ton of pigment there, but the consistency is good and it makes for a great staple product for those days when you want a hint of bronze.  Of course, if you have fair skin, you might get a bit more color than I do. Also, you're supposed to be able to build up the color to get your ideal level of bronzing, but it takes waaaay too much effort to build up the color for me and when I do finally get to a darker shade, it looks like I've just caked my cheeks in it. So, if you like a nice sheer, shimmery bronzer or if you have light skin, this product is for you.

Just one side-bitch moment: Do you like Clinique's website? I find it ungainly and annoying. Mainly because they dinked around with the design too much and now it loads slowly on my work computer. UGH.
